Way Back Home (January 24, 2009)
The dare to fly in the brink of the sky
To soar like phoenix in the heavens so high
Over the verdant idyllic sceneries my eyes could see
Emanates the alluring bliss of nature in my memory
The blinking chastity amidst the dusty road to home
Drowned the elusive magic sight to roam
Savoring the touch of a cold-light summer breeze
That engulfs my well-trodden path with ease
Behold to you praise the provincial sights
Your lucid paradise enthuses much prowess
With a picturesque enchantment everyone will miss
In a mysterious natural haven of tremendous bliss
My way to home is but a flambeu of life
Like with angel’s wings bounded in delight
Stuck in illusions the home-cooked meal with a glow
Enough to pound my heart with mighty blows
As the field’s aroma beckons my potent back
Melodious symphony whirling through my ears flops
Hearing anew my hometown’s accented speaking tone
Alas, I love to range way back to my exotic comfort zone

maayong adlaw noy bill, thank u so much for commenting me a heartwarming piece and for visiting my profile. i read and reread some of your blogs and has been amused with the way you face life, with its twists and some of its turns. reading about your friend “pangpang” is pretty hilarious and real. i had been to your home in Borbon and enjoyed our escapade there with my aunt. we met with your mom, and the hospitality was really great=== she prepared us with lots of delicious food and warmly welcomed us. We were all in awe with the way she is=== so motherly and wholly wonderful. thank u noy for the inspiration, so immense and magnificent. god bless you as always and bravo to you.
ei junel, I noticed your “noy bill” also writes well like you. The poem “pangpang” sounds interesting. You said it’s hilarious. I can also sense it. I’m also fond in “balak”. Ehehe.

keep up the good work. ingat always and godbless
thanks for dropping te delia. you too are a wonderful person, a blessing to so many people, touching their hearts, inner self and soul.
hehehe. the thought of home is really as idyllic as i perceive of our hometown. xanadu indeed, to quote you. i spent wholly 17 years of my life in the place before i entered college. living in a province like ours is really as inspiring as i may think because i really had great memoirs, happy or tender they may be.
i could recount those days, the days when children were still nurtured with idealism imposed by the folks, and it’s really a great feeling to get a flashback of those in a place that we love most. i always wish you the best te and may you are always in best health.
